In computer and computer network technology, time to live (sometimes abbreviated TTL) is a limit on the period of time that a unit of data can exist before it is discarded.  If this unit of data is not received at its destination before its time to live value reaches zero, it is discarded and it dies.  If however, it is received at its destination before this value reaches zero, the information it contains is revealed.

This may seem to be dry, technical mumbo-jumbo to you, but being a computer technician by trade, this is quite relevant to me.  This value can be important for the proper functioning of networks, for instance, and also useful in diagnosing network problems.  While troubleshooting a network performance problem one day, this term took on another meaning for me, however.  Time to live….it’s time to live.  Not the data packet.  ME!  I realized that today I start living.  It’s time to live – for Him!  I know the gift of life – the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  I have to live my life sharing it.

Ephesians 5:8
For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord.  So live as people of light!

It’s time for you to truly live also.  Live for Him.  And live to share the gift of eternal life with others.  Don’t be like the data on the network and be discarded when time runs out.  Be delivered.  And share the salvation and knowledge of Jesus Christ with others.
